Today, we arrived to address a clogged kitchen sink issue. The homeowners graciously welcomed us into their home and guided us to the kitchen, where they were experiencing problems with a non-functional garbage disposal unit and a steadily filling drain. Following a detailed conversation with them, we presented them with various options, and they decided to move forward with replacing the garbage disposal and performing a power clean of the drain line.
To begin, we established a secure workspace and commenced the removal of the old disposal unit. Shortly thereafter, we utilized a power cable to thoroughly clean the drain line, which had a minor blockage of residual food debris. We then expertly installed a new 1 HP disposal unit in place of the old one. As a courtesy, we also tightened the faucet handle, although we cannot guarantee its long-term stability. It may require further attention in the future.
After the installation, we conducted a series of tests and are delighted to report that everything is in perfect working order. There were no signs of leaks or functionality issues with any of the kitchen sink components.
