Project Description
Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the homeowner. She promptly informed us about a concerning issue with her kitchen faucet, which was leaking from below. After obtaining her consent, we proceeded to assess the situation by checking the functionality of the emergency shut-off valves. It became evident that they were unable to completely halt the water supply.
We presented the homeowner with several options, and she made the decision to go with option 2A, which includes a new kitchen faucet and turning off the water using the existing main shut off valve due to the failed emergency shut off valves under sink.
To begin the process, we turned off the water using the pre-existing gate valve located in the basement. Once the water was fully drained, we proceeded to remove the malfunctioning faucet and meticulously cleaned the area to ensure a proper seal for the installation of the new faucet.
A high-quality kitchen faucet was then expertly installed, connecting it to the existing emergency shut-off valves. With the water flow restored throughout the house, we conducted a thorough inspection of all fixtures, finding no issues to report. We applied sealant around the new faucet, which requires 24 hours to dry properly.
Lastly, we diligently cleaned my work area and expressed my gratitude to the homeowner for entrusting us with the service we provided today.
