Project Description
Today, we arrived to install a new faucet the homeowner had purchased. He greeted us warmly and presented the new faucet, which proved to be an exact match to the old one. With a bit of setup, we swiftly commenced the process of uninstalling the old faucet. This task involved the removal of the loop island drain and vent, which was also receiving a newly piped drain assembly on the same day.
During this process, we discovered a leaking emergency shut-off, which we promptly brought to the homeowners attention. He made the decision to proceed with the faucet installation without replacing the valve. Once the new faucet was securely installed, we meticulously repiped the drain assembly, connecting it from the existing basket strainer down to the reinstalled drain and vent system.
Following the installation, we conducted a series of rigorous tests, and are pleased to report that there were no issues or leaks to be found at this time. We thanked the homeowner for allowing us to help him with his plumbing needs.
