Project Description
Upon arrival, the seller's agent, graciously granted us access to the unit and expressed the need for the replacement of existing PVC lavatory trap assemblies to ensure compliance with building codes for the sale of the unit. Upon inspection, it was evident that the PVC trap assemblies in both the hallway and master bathroom did not meet code standards.
Following a discussion with both the unit owner and the sellers agent, we presented several options for rectifying the issue, with them ultimately deciding to proceed with option #2.
To ensure a clean work environment, we set up tarps to protect the area. We then proceeded to disassemble and remove the PVC trap assemblies, replacing them with heavy-gauge, code-compliant brass trap and piping assemblies. Subsequently, we restored water flow and conducted thorough testing to ensure proper functionality.
Although other existing plumbing was not evaluated during this visit, we appreciate the opportunity to complete today's work. We extend our best wishes to you for the future.
