Project Description
This morning, we arrived to carry out a service that had been previously quoted. Upon our arrival, the homeowner graciously welcomed us into his unit, where we engaged in some discussion regarding the day's agenda.
To kick off the project, we meticulously set up protections for the work area and coordinated closely with the roofing company. Working in tandem, we carefully drilled a section of roofing above the water heater and installed a professionally sealed riser pipe, expertly handled by the roofers.
Subsequently, we proceeded to drain water from the water heater unit and seamlessly integrated new pipes and fittings into the existing water supply system, facilitating the addition of a hose bib on the rooftop deck. To enhance functionality and convenience, we installed isolated shut-off valves for both the heater and the new riser line, complemented by the inclusion of a drain-down system. As a precautionary measure, we strongly advise proper drainage of this line between the months of October to April, safeguarding against potential freezing during cold weather conditions.
Following the installation, we meticulously tested the system and confirmed its flawless functionality. Rest assured, this installation is backed by a one-year warranty effective from today. Furthermore, all existing plumbing lines, fixtures, and appurtenances will remain unaltered.
