Project Description
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the homeowner who directed our attention to a broken water line near the washing machine supply line. Additionally, he expressed the desire to incorporate isolation valves to the laundry area, allowing for the rest of the home to maintain live water access in case of future issues. After a thorough assessment, we presented several options for consideration.
Upon receiving approval, we meticulously set up our work area with a tarp and proceeded to cut out the damaged section of copper piping. With precision, we repiped the section properly, ensuring optimal functionality. We then reinstalled the existing valve and installed isolation valves for both the hot and cold water supplies to the laundry area, per their request.
Upon completion of the work, we gradually restored water to the home and meticulously checked all fixtures for proper operation. Additionally, we inspected the water heater to ensure it was functioning correctly. With everything in order, we carefully cleaned up our work area and responsibly disposed of any debris.
