Upon our arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting with the homeowner, who brought to my attention several issues within his kitchen. The sink was backing up, and the tubular piping had come apart, necessitating immediate attention. Additionally, he pointed out a slow-draining lavatory sink.
After assessing the situation, we presented homeowner with various options, and he opted for option 5, which included our comprehensive service agreement. This encompassed rodding the kitchen sink drain and repiping the tubular drain pipes beneath the kitchen sink.
Upon his approval, we promptly set up tarps and our rodding machine near the kitchen sink cabinet. Removing all tubular piping, we commenced rodding the kitchen drain line, clearing approximately 18 feet. Upon retracting the cable, we noticed black sludge, indicating successful clearing of the drain.
Proceeding with the repiping task, we installed two new p-traps and all necessary fittings, seamlessly tying them onto the existing piping. Following completion of the repipe, we meticulously tested the drainage system for functionality and leaks, ensuring optimal performance. With the drain now operating smoothly and no leaks present under the sink, we proceeded to clean up the work area and removed all equipment.
