Project Description
Upon arrival, the homeowner graciously welcomed us into their home, expressing an interest in replacing their water heater. Upon inspection, we discovered their existing heater was 12 years old and causing slow recovery time periods. Following a thorough discussion and gathering relevant history, we presented the family with several options, and they decided to proceed with replacing the water heater.
Using the existing controls, we carefully shut down the old water heater, disassembled it, and efficiently removed the outdated equipment from their home. In its place, we installed a new premium 50-gallon atmospheric vent water heater, complete with a thermal expansion tank. As part of our comprehensive service, we also replaced two emergency shut-off valves that served the humidifier and refrigerator.
Upon completion, we restored water and gas flow to the new heater, cycling it into operation and carefully observing a clean combustion process. Any additional work needed, such as clearing debris from pipes or faucets, would be addressed as necessary.
