Project Description
Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the homeowner, who led us to his basement where a concerning issue awaited - a leak in his expansion tank. Additionally, he had been experiencing low water pressure in certain fixtures ever since the meter had been replaced.
In response, we diligently assessed the situation and presented the homeowner with a range of options. After considering the available choices, he decided to proceed with the replacement of the expansion tank. With the water supply to the house already turned off and the system drained, we began the process of removing the old tank.
To ensure a secure installation, we opted for copper piping, providing additional support by affixing a hanger to the top of the water heater. Once the new expansion tank was securely in place, we cautiously restored the water supply to the house, gradually allowing the system to refill, while systematically bleeding out any air from each faucet.
Upon completion, I demonstrated the restored water pressure to the homeowner, who expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out today. Prior to leaving, we meticulously cleaned the work area, removed all tools, and left the premises in an organized and tidy state.
