Project Description
Upon arrival, we met with the homeowner, who directed us to the first-floor bathroom where the lavatory sink was backing up and leaking from the piping once it backed up. After evaluating the system, we provided several options, and she chose our midrange solution. This involved power rodding the lavatory drain and replacing the drain piping within the cabinet with the proper P-trap and piping.
Once approved, we set up a tarp and towel and removed the existing piping under the cabinet. We then power rodded the drain to clear the blockage, pulling back hair on the cable. We thoroughly worked the line to ensure the pipe was free of any blockages. After completing the rodding, we installed a new P-trap and solid tubular piping. Additionally, we tightened the drain assembly, which we discovered was a bit loose.
Once all the piping was installed, we filled the basin, allowed it to drain, and checked for leaks. The drain is now functioning properly. After completing the work, we cleaned up our work area and hauled away the debris. Thank you for choosing Baethke Plumbing for your plumbing needs today!
