Project Description

We were greeted by the homeowner upon arrival to complete the scheduled work. We turned off water to the home and drained down the system and water heater. We removed the existing emergency stop for cold water supply to the water heater. We installed a new quality emergency stop. We then restored water to the home and evacuated air from the system. We disconnected the water heater water lines, gas line and exhaust venting and disposed of the water heater. We installed a new safety pan and piped it to the floor drain. We installed the new 50 gallon water heater. Repiped the hot and cold water lines including the automatic water shut off and thermal expansion tank secured to the water heater. We adjusted the thermal expansion tank to 40 psi. Repiped the gas line including a new emergency stop for the gas supply and repiped the exhaust vent. We restored water to the water heater and evacuated air from the system. Restored power and gas to the water heater. We set the temperature and confirmed the water heater is functioning as it should. This installation includes 10 years parts and labor warranty as well as 10 years of maintenance on the water heater and 10 years of maintenance agreement membership. We cleaned the work area and removed all tools. We advised the homeowner of our work and findings. We thank you for inviting us into your home and allowing us to serve your plumbing needs.
